Russell Rogers, AKA Rocking Rusty, performed twice on December 16, 2009, for Albertville Primary School students and staff. The “Rocking Rusty Jamboree” lyceum was engaging, funny, and educational. Rusty played his guitar and sang popular songs but with a hilarious twist. Rusty had students singing, dancing, and counting to rock and roll songs. Kids and teachers were laughing for much of the 30 minute presentation. The high energy performance included "London Bridge" and a great version of "10 Little Monkeys." This lyceum was both fantastic and engaging! To see Rusty's calendar of shows please visit www.rockingjamboree.com --originally published in the

RUSTY ROCKS!!!!!! We just had Rusty to our Learning Center and had a rockin' time. The children laughed and danced...and the teachers had fun too! We all loved the Christmas songs...even when Rusty changed the words! We usually invite different guests every month to our school, but Rusty is one we invite every year. Rock on!

Dear Rusty,
Thank you very much for giving the St. Cloud Public Library a wonder show for our Grand Opening Celebration on Sept. 20. We very much appreciate your participation in our special day.
Sincerely,

Rusty performed at our annual Winterfest and was a huge hit with the little ones and parents- he immediately started bringing people in and created his own party within the party- he's a star without all the star treatment neccesary- which is nice when you have a big event going on! I want Rusty to rock every event that i'm in charge of from here on out!

We invited Rusty's Rockin Jamboree to entertain at our annual Early Childhood/ Camp Centerland Ice Cream Social - He rocked the house!!!
The parents and children from toddlers to school age enjoyed his music, humor and enthusiasm.
Thank You Rusty for an awesome Family Night Event!

An FYI on a very enjoyable lyceum we had today. We had Rocking Rusty in for two very entertaining shows. The show was engaging, funny, and educational. Rusty played his guitar and sang popular songs but with a hilarious twist. Kids and teachers were laughing for much of the 45 minutes presentation

I feel like I just scored a great coup! I was able to book Rusty's Rockin' Jamboree for the opening day (Monday, June 11 at noon) of our Summer Reading Program!
If you're not familiar with him, he's a high energy performer who's very funny and good with kids and their parents. He performs what I think is one of the best library songs ever, "If You Give a Kid a Library Card" (think Laura Numeroff with pathos). He also does a great version of "10 little monkeys" which will tie in great with our "Go bananas" theme.
And no, I am not working on commission for Rusty!

If you're looking for a fun performer that appeals to both kids and adults, I can strongly recommend Rusty's Rockin' Jamboree. We've had him at [Plymouth Library] every year that I've been here, and he always draws an enthusiastic, capacity crowd and puts on a high-energy show that ties in to libraries and reading. (See the music to two of his popular songs at his website: http://www.rockingjamboree.com/music.html.)
He's also very reasonably priced. And he's easy-peasy to work with, which always makes a busy summer go more smoothly.

Russ- Thank you for your energizing performance at Edinboroough Park on New Years Eve. You were a hit, as always.
I look forward to working together in the future.
